At least 4 Great reasons to buy from us:

A painting by Joyce Frederick depicting Joyce's childhood memories as a Bluebird and Camp Fire Girl.

The original was created in 1996 for the 7th Annual Mark Twain Memories event to benefit Camp Fire Boys & Girls. The artist was a Camp Fire Girl in her youth and chose as her Indian name, Wo do ke ka, which means a skilfull artist.

Ms. Frederick attended the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School, the New England School of Art and Design, and Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

While raising her four children and working in her profession as a nurse, Joyce found time to be involved with the Needham Camp Fire Girls of which her two daughters were active members.

Camp Fire was very meaningful to Joyce and had inspired her to paint "Camp Fire Memories" using her daughter Daphne's ceremonial gown and her daughter Heather's ceremonial vest as models for this painting. She also tried to incorporate the feeling that Camp Fire has always promoted – that of brotherhood.

The original is a watercolor on Arches' paper with an image size of 17" x 22" This Fine Art Print is the same size image on 17" x 22" archival paper.

"Camp Fire Memories" print is a limited edition lithograph from a series of142 prints. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.

The print is shipped in a heavy-duty shipping tube.
